How reviews work on Share Cornwall

  • Verified reviewers only. Every reviewer confirms an email address. We never show it.
  • One review per person per venue. You can edit yours later; you cannot post twice.
  • Checked before they appear. A person reads every review first. Honest criticism is welcome. Fake, paid, abusive or conflicted reviews are not.
  • Owners can reply, free. Every business gets a public right of reply.
  • Paying never changes ratings. Nobody can pay to remove or alter a review. Promoted spots are labelled "Promoted" and never change a star rating or the order of reviews.
  • No incentives. We do not accept reviews that were paid for or rewarded, and businesses may not ask only happy customers to review.
  • Your data. First name only is shown. We keep your email only to verify you. Ask us to delete your review or your data at any time (UK GDPR).
  • The law. We follow the UK ban on fake reviews (Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024) and the CMA's guidance.
